  1. Is the Aquarium handicap accessible? I have a child in a wheelchair as well as a younger daughter and this maybe something I’d be interested in doing with my girls
    Thanks in advance,
    Dorothy

    • Hi Dorothy! Yes, Newport Aquarium is handicap accessible. We have multiple elevators located throughout the building, as well as ramps and/or wheelchair areas for each of our exhibits.

      • It doesn’t appear that the shark bridge would be accessible though-right? I wish it could’ve been made a tad wider and with different materials to accommodate wheelchairs, strollers, or people who would need a more stable surface to safely walk. Our family hasn’t had chance to visit since the bridge. My husband and I use a wheelchair but our children do not so it’s tricky to let them explore the new exhibit if we can’t access it. Overall though, we find the aquarium very accessible and I always recommend it to friends in town visiting.

    • It is 99% handicap accessible. I say 99% because someone in a wheelchair may not be able to pet the sharks, or go accross the shark bridge, but there are ramps and elevators to everything else.

  2. FREE* admission between 4-7 p.m. with the purchase of one full-priced adult ticket. Very poor there is only a 3 hour opening not worth a 180 mile drive. OK if you live close?

  3. I heard there are stroller restrictions during July and other months and weekends is this true . We have friends that were there. Never heard of such a thing!!!!

  4. How much is an adult ticket and if it’s crowded will we still have all the opportunity to see anything we would like??

  5. I would like to know how much are the tickets to get into the aquarium and how many children are allowed to go for the 4-7 free tickets offered? Also can they go for the whole day ? And how far is it from Lagrange Kentucky? I have two grandchildren who are home schooled and this would be an awesome experience for them to go to , for their education.
